For Buyers, New Projex offers three solutions for completing outsourcing your projects.  You can post a project on www.newprojex.com, allowing our service provider Members to submit bids.  You can also search our database of Featured Members, selecting specific service providers for your project.  Posting projects and reviewing Member bids and Featured Member profiles is 100% free. When you have selected the Members that you’re interested in contacting, we collect a small fee for each Member that you contact.  Our New Projex Select service saves you even more time and money by turning the Request for Proposal Process over to us. Based on your timeframe, project requirements, and budget, we tap our premium pool of pre-screened, pre-qualified service providers to provide you with the “best fit”, most qualified service providers that offer the best value within your budget.

 

For Service Providers, New Projex brings new project opportunities to you. You can submit bids for projects that you’re interested in working on, or you can promote your services, skills, and experience directly to frequent users of creative services.

No Commissions

 

Unlike many other freelance Websites, we do not charge a commission on projects that are placed through our services. We encourage and support direct contracting and negotiation between buyers and sellers. Our No Commission policy saves both buyer and seller money and encourages timely completion of projects.  Instead, we provide Tips & Tools that help buyers and service providers manage projects remotely and schedule and facilitate payment most effectively across international borders.

 

No Reverse Auction Environment

Yes, you can registere as both a Client and a Member, using separate email address and contact details. Your Client registration and status allows you to submit project postings and contact Members that you are interested in having do work for you.  Your Member registration and status allows you to submit bids for projects and take advantage of a range of Member benefits and services.

A bid within the New Projex system is a response to a Project posting that indicates that you, as a Member, are interested in presenting a proposal for and being considered as a service provider for a particular Project.  A bid may or may not be accompanied by a specific proposal, work sample(s), or price quotation.  Premium Members are able to attached proposals or similar attachments with any and all of their bids, increasing the probability that they will be selected as a potential service provider for a Project. Premium Member also can send his full view profile to the client directly.

This structured pre-qualification process assures that bidders on New Projex Select projects are among the best in their fields and substantially reducing the risk of project delays or performance shortfalls.

New Projex Select helps buyers maintain tight project completion schedules by managing the bidding, proposal solicitation, and qualification process. By pre-screening bidders, issuing strict proposal requirements (i.e. timing, content, samples, references, availability, etc), and running either open or sealed bid RFPs, we reduce time that is often wasted clarifying proposal details, collecting work samples and references, and eliminating unqualified or uncompetitive bidders.

 

How do I use New Projex Select to obtain project proposals and bids from service providers?

 

New Projex Select has a simply process for soliciting proposals from our pool of pre-qualified service providers.  Just following these steps to get your next critical project underway:

 

  1. Contact New Projex Client Services representative via telephone, email, online, or www.newprojex.com to receive a New Projex Select project registration form
  2. Complete and submit New Projex Select Project Registration form that includes a detailed description of your project requirements, service provider requirements, proposal content requirements, bidding format (i.e. sealed bid or open bid), and bid deadline
  3. Receive Project registration approval confirmation from New Projex Client Service team. New Projex Select will provide you with qualified Project proposals 1-2 days before and 1-2 days after your Project bid deadline.
  4. You contact selected bidders directly to finalize details and contract final project.
  5. After Project completion, you provide New Projex Select with a Member evaluation via our Member evaluation system.

When sourcing Project proposals using New Projex Select, buyers (or Clients) have the ability to specify whether they would like to run a sealed bid or open bid RFP process. Using a sealed bid process, Members submit a project quotation along with their proposal with no details of proposal quotation available to other bidders during the RFP process. Using an open bid process, invited Members are provided with a list of bid quotations that other Members have submitted throughout the bidding process, allowing bidders to see competing quotations and potentially adjust their quotation and proposal to match or under-bid their counterparts in a reverse auction-type process.  Although open-bid RFPs may allow Clients to obtain lower cost proposals, this process may also discourage certain Members from participating in what they perceive as a price-based project competition.

New Projex Select charges between US$299 and US$899 per project to assure the delivery of high quality, pre-qualified, best-cost proposals for creative, marketing, and Web development projects.  These costs compare highly favorably with other freelance and classified advertising sites that typically provide no assurance of results, service provider quality, or proposal completeness.

Our standard New Projex service is available via our New Projex Website at www.newprojex.com  Using www.newprojex.com, you are able to search among our Featured Talent for service providers that meet your needs, or you can post a Project on our New Projex system, and we will match your Project requirements to our network of thousands of independent professionals, studios, and agencies worldwide.  Best of all – you can post an unlimited number of projects, review an unlimited number of bids and profiles of qualified, “best fit” suppliers for free.

 

Our New Projex Select service helps you take the headaches and risks out of sourcing, evaluating, and soliciting complete proposals from highly experienced suppliers of creative, communication, Web development, event, and digital market services.  We design and manage a Request for Proposal process that solicits proposals that meet your specific requirements from our pre-screened, pre-qualified pool of service providers.  Using our New Projex Select service, you can set your project budget, request specific work samples, previous client references, schedule availability, and specific industry experience, and we do the rest --- you receive a short-list of service provider proposals that meet your precise needs within the period that you require – no more wasting time briefing unqualified suppliers and chasing them for work samples, references, or complete proposals when you’re up against a tight deadline.

New Projex allows buyers to review the detailed Member profiles of bidders for their projects or among Featured Members.  As a buyer (or Client), you are free to review as many Member profiles as you like at no cost. When you find a Member who you would like to contact, you click on the “See Full Profile “ button and you will receive the Member’s contact information.  You are then free to contact the Member directly by phone or email to discuss the details of your project, his/her proposal, and negotiate final pricing and contract details.

New Projex Clients can post an unlimited number of Projects and view an unlimited number of Member or bidder profiles at no cost.  New Projex Clients are charged a modest fee for each Member that they seek to contact.  New Projex Clients can also pay small fees to upgrade their Project to Featured Project status or issue bilingual Project postings.

To post a Project, simply login to www.newprojex.com using your username and password, and enter your Project details in the Project posting form.

To modify a project that you have already posted, login to www.newprojex.com, go to My New Projex, and select the Project from the list appearing in your My New Projex accounts. By clicking on the Edit function, you will be able to edit many, but not all of your Project description fields. Certain fields, such as Project Name, cannot be edited once your Project has been posted. To make changes in these fields, you will need to cancel your existing Project and re-enter a new Project posting.

To upgrade your Project posting to a Featured Project, check the Featured Project box at the end of the Project posting form. By checking this form, your upgrade request will be sent to the New Projex Client Service team for approval and processing.

To upgrade your Project posting to a New Projex Select project, either click on the New Projex Select inquiry form that is on the Project posting page or contact our New Projex Client service team directly to assist you in collecting the required Project details.

To extend your project’s bidding period, login to www.newprojex.com and go to the My New Projex page. You will see your project list from which you can select the Project which you seek to extend.  Click on the Edit button and change the Project Bidding Deadline field.  Once you have changed the bidding deadline, click Submit and your change will be made in the New Projex system. An alert of this change will be sent to Members who have bid on your Project.

To post your Project both English and Chinese and substantially expand the pool of Members who are available to bid on your Project, simply check the appropriate box at the bottom of the Project Posting form. Your request will be sent to our New Projex Client Service team, and they will arrange a translation and posting of your bilingual Project description within 24 hours. You can also post a Chinese project directly in Chinese version page.

To cancel your Project after posting, login to www.newprojex.com and go to the My New Projex page.  You will see your Project listed in your account. By clicking on your Project file, you will be given the option to close your Project. By closing your Project, you cancel your Project posting and Members are no longer able to place further bids on this Project.

New Projex allows Members to create a free profile, detailing their industry experience, skills and capabilities, and samples of their work. Based on Members’ profiles, New Projex will send them invitations to bid on Projects posted by New Projex Clients worldwide. New Projex Members can review Project specifications and budgets and determine if the available Project fits their interests and schedule. Members can then bid on Projects, attaching detailed proposals, quotations or specific work samples to increase their chances of being selected by Clients.

 

Not only does New Projex find Projects for Members, we also proactively promote Member skills and expertise in the following ways:

Your standard Membership enables you to receive and review an unlimited number of potential Projects that match your skills.  Your standard Membership also allows you to bid on up to 3 Projects per quarter.

When you register your new Member profile, you may add samples to your profile by uploading sample attachments in the spaces indicated at the end of your profile.

 

To add or change samples in your existing Member profile, you should sign in to your account, go to the My New Projex menu, select Edit, and then go to the sample attachment section at the end of your profile to upload or change samples in your Profile.

After registering as a standard Member, you can upgrade to a Premium Membership by simply clicking on the Upgrade to a Premium Membership link in you're My New Projex page or simply send an email to our New Projex Client Service team at service@newprojex.com, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Currently, New Projex supports payment for Premium Membership by Paypal and bank transfer. We will be offering additional online payment options shortly.

To modify your profile’s skill categories, update or add a skill category, just sign in at  http://www.newprojex.com/signin, and go to the Edit menu in your My New Projex section. Here, you’ll be able to edit most fields within your account.  If you have trouble modifying a specific field or would like to modify a field that the system doesn’t permit, just send an email to our Client Service team at service@newprojex.com requesting the change.

You will receive notifications of new Project opportunities in three ways: (1) via an email alert sent to your email address, (2) by checking your Find a project tab to see pending new Projects that meet your skill category, and (3) by checking the Featured Projects list on the New Projex home page.  To bid on a Project, simply click on the “Bid” button next to each Project listing. By clicking on this button, your bid information will be forwarded to the Client for consideration.

Premium Members can increase their chances of winning new Projects by attaching proposals, price quotes, or customized samples along with their bid.  As a Premium Member, you will be prompted to attach a bid document along with each bid that you submit. Simply upload an appropriate document file into the New Projex system, and your bid information and bid document will be forwarded to the Client for consideration.

Unlike other freelance Websites, New Projex does not take a commission from or participate in the transaction between Members and Clients.  The majority of Clients pay Members directly in accordance with the terms of their Project agreement and payment schedule.  In some cases, Clients or Members request to use New Projex escrow payment service. New Projex escrow service allows Clients to make a payment to a New Projex escrow account and for New Projex to release payment in accordance with the Project completion confirmation.

Your My New Projex account will help you track Projects that you’ve bid received, bid on, and received short-list confirmations.  Simply login to your My New Projex account to search and review your Project history.

When new Projects matching your skill category are posted, you will receive an notification by email, informing you of Project details, deadlines, and inviting you to bid on the Project.

When your bid has been selected by a Client you will receive an email indicating that a Client has requested your profile and that you may be contacted directly by the Client to discuss and finalize Project details. An accepted bid in the New Projex system does not mean that you have won the Project – however, it does mean that you are likely to be short-listed as one of the prospective suppliers.

After receiving Bidder or Member profiles, Clients generally contact winning bidders directly to finalize Project details, pricing, and payment terms.  We recommend that at this stage you present the Client with a letter of agreement, contract, or statement of work that creates a legally-binding agreement between you and the Client.  Upon signing such an agreement directly with the Client, you will have confirmed the final award of the Project.
